ESPN uses the headline "Chink in the Armor" on an article about Jeremy Lin. It was pulled. Some may argue that it was an honest mistake.

Bullshit. I've worked with print and web journalists and one of the things they deliberate over is the Headline. They will have staff meetings just to come up with the perfect Headline. That title was chosen after a lot of thought.

Goes to show that this is what white people think of when they see an asian face. If all you think about is blueberry pancakes, blueberry pancakes is somehow going to slip into the conversation.  If the thought of Jeremy Lin being a chink pervades your mind, it's going to slip out eventually.

Meanwhile, over in Asian countries, black and white athletes are treated and seen as gods.

What president is going to address an issue like this? Did George W. Bush address any of the anti-asian acts or racist slurs in his 8 years of office? Nope, but his supporters sure were making a lot of those anti-asian remarks. Did George W. Bush say anything when Tiger Woods was rejected from a country golf club because he was black? At least Obama acknowledges Jeremy Lin. A Republican would say that asians don't belong on the court and that basketball should go back to being a white man's sport. Hell, most Republicans probably don't watch basketball because of all the "colored" people. They'd rather watch football where they can fap to Tebows and Bradys being the white men on top.

The thing is is that Obama is hailed as a "colored" president that will "defend" the interests of minorities in America - that is his image and that's why he won.  With Bush no one is expecting that motherfucker to do anything good for humanity.

You're absolutely right.  Whatever political side YT belongs to, he'll go out of his way to make fun of Asians.  Watched Bill Maher's show over the weekend.  he's suppose to be the 'enlightened' progressive liberal YT.  Lot of his political views I agree with, but this last episode, he had on his show some Lin jokes.  All stereotypical of Asians.  and he does the 'I'm just joking' thing at the end of the jokes.  Sure it's a joke to you YT but not to us.   Won't be viewing that show any longer.
