It's a big and dangerous mistake to think that Asians, in particular females, are submissive and unsophisticated. If anything, Asians on average are actually more shrewed than westerners. Con-artists like the ones in this story are rampant in Asia. The sad thing is that even with experiences like this author's, the Asian-fetish among white men are unlikely to go away. On the other hand, white women will continuously shun Asian men based on stereotype. Old habits sure die hard. |
