The fact is asians must score higher than white counterparts to achieve admission to elite schools. It has nothing to do with whether affirmative action is RIGHT or WRONG .
Also if never accounted for that many of these ivory towers are pro white insitutions. Like u mentioned before if there wasn't affrimative actions that benefits whites, ALL prestigous IVY league schools would be dominanted by asian students, which leaves poor whiteys out to state schools.
Also NBA IS NOT SAME THING AS COLLEGE ADMISSIONS, dumbass
NBA wants guys who can perform on call because sports franchises, GM, investors, banks, etc.......are in business for money not some form of racial equality! As for blacks accounting for demographics of sports, it's only about tad under 70%......NOT 90% you mentioned( if you actually look up the STATISTIC maybe you wouldn't have to resort to racial stereotypes ) Sports is much more readily avaible to those who can't afford computers, books, etc.........Plus those who are in NBA are very SMALLLLLLL % of basketballers from HS/college ranks

The fact that you boast of your own community as “model minorities” is exactly what neocon apologists like D’Souza use to THWART ANY DISCOURSE ON RACIAL INEQUALITIES, AND PETITIONS FOR POLICIES TO NARROW THE GAP BETWEEN BLACKS, LATINOS AND WHITES.
As for Asian achievement, hard work and family support does play a vital role, but you overlook the fact that many Asians who attained scholastic excellence, OWE MUCH OF THAT TO A FOUNDATION HAD ALREADY BEEN REALIZED IN ASIA BEFORE COMING TO AMERICA; EITHER THEMSELVES OR THEIR PARENTS.
Also, if you think affirmative action is so wonderful for blacks, HOW WOULD LIKE TO BE BLACK FOR A FEW YEARS?
