I've read some of Emil's commentaries over at Asianweek, I never really thought much about it myself. But in ways I think I understand what treehouse is saying, since Guillermo is maried to a white female it seems kind of hypocritical for him to criticize AFs for getting with WMs. It's almost like he went and did the same thing himself. Some would argue that if he chose to marry a WF then the AFs had a right to marry the WMs, which they do (as does he). But the problem is that with racism so rampant, not only are WMs becoming increasingly more isolationist and paranoid about race relations, their white female counterparts are, too. I think that the AFs he mentioned are messed up but Yeoh is not someone to be praised either. Her role in the Bond flick wasn't that far off from other Bond girls before her. Karate kicking didn't make up for the closing scenes of that movie.
