They are raised in an Asian culture that does not promote brashness and outspokenness." It couldnt be the fact that maybe they just dont see it, or they just dont want to see it, or as atheletes from a noblier era, they make statements with thier play.
Not to sound like a dick but just look at the Taiwanese legislature, they take a page right out of the British House of Commons for "brashness" or even look at the S. Korean periodicals or protestors I guess blowing up a quasi famous person's dating status or torching flags to show disapproval for US presence is not outspoken.
Your own comment shows the great gulf between that which is Asian and that which is American of Asian descent. |
