Look I guess you don't seem to know much about whole aspect of human personal relationships. First off, of course man-woman relationships are based on power and inequalities because after all initially we want gender roles to be played due to very nature of how men are attracted to women and how women are attracted to men.
Men want sex, so we give love
Women want love, so they give sex
Women want to be equal to men, but don't want to give up the perks of being a female in order to do so
Men want/should try to understand women issues and inequality but are not willingly to part of perks of being a man.
