Re: Pride or Prejudice? (Score: 1) by JunKim on Wednesday, June 08 @ 01:11:12 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | | Perhaps it's not my business to meddle, but I think that you have the full right to be proud of EVERYTHING you are, not just your Japanese heritage. In this increasingly global age, especially, we're more "Global Souls" than we ever were before--while race and ethnicity still matter to a lot of people, especially disciminatory people, I think that maybe humankind has come a teeny tiny way in being able to appreciate diversity more. Whatever you got in you is beautiful. I don't agree with people who say that "Asian's more beautiful than white/black/Latino/Native Americans/mixed people." That's simply not true. What's true is this: Asians, blacks, whites, Latinos, Native Americans, mixed people, we're all equally beautiful, beautiful because we're different from each other and each and every one of us has a different culture to claim. So just... be whoever you are and be proud of it. |

Re: Pride or Prejudice? (Score: 1) by jpma on Friday, September 24 @ 15:32:16 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | for sure! there are some pure f@#king retarded "we should be super pure asian"opinions around here.
as far as children of mixed heritage the beauty is from both parents. and many times the beauty or the good looks are better because of the combination than if it were one or another. ever seen some of these mixed asian chicks, better than asian, better than white.
but as far as the supposed "pure super asians" they can shove their "make u feel bad attitude" up their A$$.
when u get so stuck on the "jesus" (from europe)way of life versus the "buddahs" (from asia) way of life u become limited to only this life and ultimately derive a superficial interpetation of why things are the way they are.
