She basically stated there should be community outreach programs and education that helps AFs on issue of being label as the so called oriental sex object stigma on to deal with asianphiles. I don't see why or how you are going to ignore this very harmful and yet dangerous situation here but yet want to be on a site that embodies asian american empowerment.
Yea I agree the writer maybe a closet yellow cab driver, blaming her culture for these asian female victims silence, but that doesn't mean the real issue is not of great concern and importance. You should care about harmful crimes against asian women because they affect you as well. So basically screw ALL asian/aa females just because some of them are sellouts? Please there are plenty who stand by their AM boyfriends/husbands.
Why should we bring down the majority of asian women who are not CCBs or self haters? Just because we have certain % of population who have issues doesn't mean we should ignore those AFs who are in same boat as we are in
BTW, seoulone is last AF you should be directing you hate at. She is not some CCB or sell hater, but merely speaking on behalf of hate crimes that are directed towrads asian women, minus AM bashing, which she isn't doing.
Like I said before you should direct your concerns toward the author of this article or as seoulone suggested write a column for MM site on this issue. |
