Re: A Chinese Teenager in America (Score: 1) by njyonsei on Thursday, March 17 @ 20:45:53 EST (User Info | Send a Message) | Why are you complaining about ME not reading previous posts if you're thinking that enygma is sexist considering that SHE has defined that SHE is FEMALE.
Guess what. You know why we have to have a site to empower us? Because of RACISM. You going on and on about how bad White people are and how apparently because someone has an idea different than you they're a "Gash" doesn't make you seem empowered. It makes you seem like a blantant racist, just as bad as a non-asian racist. It also makes you seem like you're exploting over a century of Asian-American suppression just so that you can feel good about yourself.
Stop restricting yourself just because you feel the need to affirm your Asian-ness. I got over that in Middle School and went on to become president of my High School's Asian club. You know why? Because I was willing to admit that ASIANS ARE NOT THE SUPREME RACE and didn't try to get everyone to become an elitist. The more you say "the White man's ideals" the more you seem like something out of a bad 70's Kung Fu movie.
Honestly, open your mind. At the moment, you seem like you're outright rejecting anything that didn't come from Asia. That's just as bad as a Caucasian person going on about "them backwards chinamen". Enygma was simply trying to make a point. She has answered everyone's ATTACKS with calm decency. Why can't you just do the same? |
