The social dynamic that Asian females experience is different from that of Asian males. The two do not equate simply because of race. Quite often things do happen to people simply because of their race and no other factor, for instance the murder of Vincent Chin. There are numerous other examples that illustrate this. Whole programs of study at universities are dedicated to this. Playing the race card may be necessary, for instance, when it is true. In the real world, people may not be overt about their racism. Few would in these days of political correctness openly voice their opinions, but would demonstrate and exercise it in more subtle ways. I am assuming, please correct me if I am wrong, that you are somewhat new to Asian American issues. If you are new, there is a great deal to learn. If not then, that is a completely different issue that will be difficult to address.
