But church?
It's one thing to go to these types of establisments, but it's another to actually be involved in social/politics that affect OUR community..chinese/chinese american community. To educate themselves about racism, politics etc.. ( parents ) and to their adoptive children is RIGHT way for these ppl to think and do. BUT IMO and my own personal antecdotes; white folks don't really care about the issues that are discuss on this site because it doesn't really affect them. heck most AAs don't give a fvck about lot of issues, but they have felt racism, self racial doubt, self hate, and stereotypes in some form. White folks WILL never know what this feels like
YEA, chinese need to start protecting their own and STOP damn WESTERN imperalism influence influx into their nation and start to DEFINE themselves on their own terms
Also AA families should think about adopting these children as well if on avg finance wise can handle it and willingly to adopt. Real questions is:
do they WANT to
