If they want respect from Asian Americans, then treat us with respect. I truly think that most Blacks have repressed anger towards Whites, but is displaced onto Asian Americans. What do Asian Americans have anything to do with slavery and injustice Blacks experienced in the past ? Asian Americans also have been treated terribly historically from the Whites. You think Blacks would be more compassionate about racial issues. I use to work at an institution where it was predominately Black. I found the Blacks there were more racist and offensive than the whites when it comes to interactions with Asians. It was so bad at this particular place that only Blacks were giving themselves promotions. I left that place needless to say. The bottom line is that Blacks have struggled in the past, but it is inexcusable for them to blame Asian Americans for their injustice in America. We are dealing with it too. |
