no....some of them do it out of the kindness of their hearts. I see them all the time at my brother's chinese school. The white parents go and learn chinese there so they can keep their child in touch with their culture. And many of the adoptees are girls because china used to have a 1-child rule. And its not a secret that many of them aborted girls when they found out. But isn't it better to have someone adopt a child than to let them, stay in the orphanage?
