1- The USA is not a democracy; it is a constitutional republic.

Almost right. It's a democratic republic, although I won't quibble as some of us still believe the Constitution to be important. (BTW - I don't think I ever said the US was a democracy, but some of my posts were in haste.)

NOT ALMOST RIGHT; I AM ABSOLUTELY CORRECT....THE USA IS A CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC. PERIOD

2- Human rights is not universal. If it were, then we would have to all come from the same cultural environment.

Incorrect. The individual, regardless of place of birth, is endowed with rights that no man or government can deny. That is the foundation of human rights.

THAT IS A PURELY WESTERN-CENTRIC POV

3- Individual freedom is limited in the USA as well as anywhere else.

Of course. And it is a good thing. However, I'll take the US version of "limited freedom" to China's version of "limited freedom" any day!

THAT WAS NOT YOUR ORIGINAL THESIS

4- If the USA was so just, why is there a need for this website?

Exactly!

THEN I SUBMIT THAT YOU MUST EITHER LIVE IN A CAVE OR YOU FOLLOW THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE "THREE MONKEYS".

(For a more thorough answer regarding excuses for self pity, see my response to dilbert.)

I HAVE A LOT O'MORE, A LOT O'MORE!
