In the early days of the Iraqi war, someone, i guess from the Japanese camp speak out about the Arab nabbings and likened it to Japanese nabbings.
The Republicans want to justify the nabbings but somehow the Japanese has to be in the middle of this imbroglio.
The Japanese incident was 50 years ago. Do you really want to talk about racial incidents 50 years ago? Then ask yourself this, have the Japanese Amercians apologize to other Asian countries for the atrocities their kind has done to them?
Korean women were sex-slaved because they are just Korean. Why didnt they make sex slaves out of Japanese women? I could go on and on.

I just find it so grandstanding and the epitome of hypocrisy to fight for another group then ask for help from the Asian group when they didnt do anything, anything for us back then.
The other Asians have forgotten the past. I just suggest the Japanese Americans take one for their country. If they are more Americans, then this is what America is all about.
You want to be in the most powerful country and not in Japan, then take one. After all, not everyone believes them anyway and they are probably out by November. That is if you do something constructive about it.
