Aznxcynical...dude...I understand you are mad. But honestly....everyone already knows your opinion on this issue. You don't need to go out to every female poster on this site and basically make her feel like shit. She was expressing her displeasure at being seen as exotic...and you somehow act like it was a personal attack to all asian males. I have a message for you. It wasn't. I am an Asian male that definitely makes his stand on issues that matter. But going to every Asian female poster on this site and proclaiming your viewpoints only alienates them. Here are a few examples.

"It's also a shame that a lot aren't. It's also a shame that a lot are playing into those roles and not many are doing anything about it. Look at the media, and look all around you and you see why the image of the exotic AF persist to this day."

She was pissed that she had to deal with it...and alot of AFs have to. I'm sure she realized that others do not realize these myths and play into them. Just because she didn't mention her extensive knowledge of how the media exotizes AFs, it doesn't mean that she is totally ignorant of these facts. I understand that you want AFs to realize the plight of AMs and how some of them perpetualize the stereotypes...but honestly...did dolphin really warrant your badgering. I read her post....I certainly don't think so. Lets continue with the evidence.

"If AAF wants debunk the myth, then stop then being the white man's ***** is all I gotta say. Speak up or do something about it. Shun those other AAF you see onscreen that perpetuate those myths rather than being all quiet about it, which is what all you AF been doing."

This is where you make a statement generalizing all Asian American females. I've met my fair share of AAFs that are "the white man's *****." However, do not go and be a total jackass and generalize all of them to being quiet about it...and also being their *****. I also know a fair share that will only date AMs exclusively and know the plight of Asian males. Honestly...let's look at both sides here before you make yourself look like a fool and start assuming something about Dolphin.

"Although our stereotypes may differ, it's still a stereotype nonetheless and harmful to us. We too, got our own sets of problems to worry about. You're not the only one that's gotta worry about it. And the other half aren't making it any easier with their bashing & emasculating of us along with the very same ppl that's responsible for perpetuating those myths."

I will give you...the fact that her previous statement about men and stereotypes...sounded quite ignorant of AM stereotypes. However, this is reading it out of context. Her argument was based on the parent document. Which is about AAFs being exoticized. Therefore when she states that AAMs do not have to deal with this exotification...she is correct. She doesn't have to write about our stereotypes because...it has nothing to do w/ her argument. Quite honestly, her posting would be the most random piece of writing if she did. She didn't mention the persecution of Asian males because the article didn't talk about that. It talks about Asian women being called exotic. So once again...stop making this a personal attack on Asian males. You have to calm down and get some perspective. I really do not like to do this. But you are one of the most outspoken individuals on the site with anti-AAF views. I feel like many of these views are manifestations of bitter experiences you've had with AAFs. Your commentary is extremely misogynistic. You discount male accounts and over analyze female experiences. Please, in all seriousness, take a look at your perspective and ask yourself, is this because I've been burned by AAFs...or is this because I really think that most AAFs perpetuate the emasculation and marginalization of AMs. I think it is the former. I've dealt with so many supportive AAFs that I find it hard to believe all these generalizations.
