Re: Colorblind Dating (Score: 1) by DalaiWu on Monday, August 02 @ 23:58:25 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | Generally speaking--of course there are exceptions--Asian parents in this country do not preach racism. However, not including non-Asians into one's family to procure the future and the continuation of what has come before is not a racist act. It is but a deliberate act of honor and preservation of family bloodlines and cultural heritage.
It is also an act of courage and resistance to the absorption of inappropriate foreign ideals as one may attempt to exist healthily in this antagonistic environment for non-White people.

I feel that both Asian and black perceptions of each other are dominated by the White media. That is primarly because there is a lack of communication between Asian and African American community with both of them not making an effort.
