Re: Teaching racism (Score: 1) by DalaiWu on Sunday, July 25 @ 20:24:07 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | Racism is an accepted reality--a standard--in Asia because each population is homogenous. The USA is not a homogenous population. Therefore, equality and acceptance for diversity is necessary for different groups to co-exist. However, with the Chinese Exclusion Act, WW II Japanese Concentration Camps, Slavery, the stealing of Native People's Lands and the warehousing of them on dessert jails--sorry, reservations--and finally the wholesale genocide of their population, does not put you in a good position as a White Man to comment on racism in Asia. The only reason that you people are in Asia to begin with is because of your genetic predisposition to conquer and seek hegemony over non-White populations. Ever heard of the Opium Wars in China and Admiral Perry's threats in Japan?
Put a lid on it paper tiger! Find another website to practice your racist imperialism!

So many Koreans and Chinese people hate Japanese people, no matter how long WW2 was. I know a lot of Asian familes in the States as well that don't like white people. Racism, is really, an international problem. |
