You are overly focused on the offensive nature towards us by the homogeneous majority culture. Realize that without enough push, you cannot engage them on their turf. However, you can fight the small battles and harass them until they either give-in or until you become strong enough to fully attack with the possibility of winning.

FYI: No one wanted to eliminate such a gifted brain trust in 1989. Understand that it was the government that paid their tuition. The student’s concerns regarding corruption were accepted and well founded. However, when your elders and leaders ask you not to dishonor the country while a visiting head of state-- Mihail Gorbachov --was in Beijing, you are duty bound to comply; you do not cause disharmony and "wash your dirty laundry in public". There is no price for honor. There was also no leader that enjoyed making that decision. But it was one that was demanded by Chinese values, which are very black and white. As far as..."govt. that would kill there own young people for demonstrating for democracy......", that should be obvious to you to be Western propaganda.
I was of the understanding that you were Asian.
