And it wasn't my intention to give you all the details to my love life, only enough to illustrate that there do exist some Asian women who debase the claims made in the article. And 3line posed the same concern you have. When it comes to choosing a potential partner based on race, there is racism and there is reversed racism. If a woman refuses to date other cultures and desires only to go with her own: racism. If a woman avoids her own "race" and desires only to go for others: reverse racism. And it's not even restricted to that, you can toy with the idea however. The author of the article was being a reverse racist in assuming that all white men chose Asian for a toy or a doll. Simply put, any bias based on race is racism. And you've made an obvious point, nobody likes racism and it is sick.
So if you should ever come across a woman or a man who chooses solely based on race, would you want to be dating them in first place?
All these Asian guys complaining, have they had the opportunity to get to know absolutely every Asian woman out there who is dating a white man? Sometimes there is more to the selection other than race, but for some reason, it is automatically attributed to only the color of skin. The author of the article made too bold of a statement in his assumptions of as to why some Asian women choose white. He compacts it into these causes that are too simple, and in doing so writes it off too easily.
Also as for these Asian men complaining, how do they know it's not ONLY their Asian-ness that Asian women are trying to avoid, if even? |
