Re: Asian Male Bashing in American Media (Score: 1) by jpma on Wednesday, June 23 @ 20:10:04 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | "Well, maybe it'll take the interest of the Asian media overseas to work hand in hand with the Asian-Americans to get rid of this image".
There should be an appeal to the Asian media to do so. We should not assume they will automatically feel a need to support any Asian-American cause. Let's hope someone gets wind of a long lasting trend of making Asians look like fools and causes people to hit back where it hurts, in the pocket book.
China has done so. Here is a computer game that has been banned - (gamers were probably not asked). I guess it was the same govt. that would kill there own youg people for demonstrating for democracy......

"Project IGI2: Covert Strike" was accused of intentionally blackening China and the Chinese army's image as a freelance mercenary fights in the game across three linked campaigns in the former Soviet Union, Libya and China, where he steals intelligence and conducts sabotage in China and shoots at China's soldiers while China's national flag and signs like "China Aviation" pop up frequently
Asian-American can do liitle harm to Hollywood's pocket book but all of Asia is a different story, unless Hollywood really doesn't give a sh!t about Asia derived profits.
