Dolemite (Score: 1) by Minh on Thursday, June 17 @ 18:41:38 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | | You are exactly right with the last paragaraph. I mentioned Chinese becuase I am Chinese. To certain extant all I do mean all east asian culture was influenced heavily by chinese culture. I don't care if koreans don't want to except that that their culture is heavily based on Chinese. I don't care if Japanese don't care, but Chinese must care they must have much more than what I see in America. Compare that with Chinese all over asia. Everyone no matter where they come from should know their people's history. I'll finish with this if you don't know chinese history or culture you can't call yourself Chinese America just give up the Chinese part. I have nothing against it. Just don't use the word Chinese in vain and ignorance. As for as Japs. I have no problem with Japanese in America or Japanese today. Just the Japanese who live durin the 1920s-40s. They were worse than the Nazi. Those were who Bill Parcell was talking about. Dont believe me go to northern China. IF you are Indonesian, know your history. If you are East Timor know your history. anbd so on and so on. WE don't need "asian-america". KOrean, Japanese, Viets, and Chinese are based on Chinese tradition. Thai is their own thing and Indonesians and Maylay are Muslims. We are all not the same. |
