Re: Response from Black Civil Rights Leaders (Score: 1) by GeoffDB on Wednesday, June 16 @ 16:34:53 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) | You have your stereotypes of black people and black people have stereotypes of Asians.
From my personal experience, you will be hard pressed to see a lot of black civil rights leaders speaking up because they see black/Asian relations for what they are. That is, socially complicated, bitterly racist and deeply cultural on both sides of the fence.
You believe that black people are on welfare and black people believe that guys like you are in cahoots with the white man to be as white-like as possible.
Most civil rights leaders probably would be inclined to leave these incidents for police spokespersons to comment on.
It is a terribly ugly commentary on black/Asian relations in the good old US of A. |
