Re: Outsourcing Rhetoric Scapegoats South Asian Americans (Score: 1) by Andrew (Use the Write to Us Link) on Wednesday, May 12 @ 13:22:38 EDT (User Info | Send a Message) http://modelminority.com | There's a big difference between acknowledging the destructive economic effects of outsourcing and advancing policies to mitigate them, and "fanning US xenophobic flames." I challenge you to post even one link to an example of Kerry or Hillary doing the latter rather than the former.
Ignoring or downplaying economic dislocations as "inevitable" won't make them go away. Instead, by failing to address the legitimate economic grievances of American workers, it is conservative policies that worsen these problems and encourage lawless and xenophobic responses. |
