(User Info | Send a Message) | its not really having to do with skin color as much as it does with behaviour and tradition. Indians who I know dislike blacks because they consider them "wild and disrespectful". Of course this is not true of all Indians, some of them really do like black people. South Indians especially like blacks because they too have skin just as dark as black people.
As for skin color, the northern Indians do have white skin, the same goes with most central Indians. In the deep south, however, the skin color of Indians is *very* dark. |

I have never met any racist Indian folks, but everybody tells me they exist, so I will take people's word for it. Generally speaking the younger Indian folks I know are mostly very cool. I don't know a whole lot though, and I have never dated one which I bet would have brought out the ill feelings. And plus, there is Metalhead which kind of helps prove your point . . . |

(User Info | Send a Message) | In American, anyone can get away with 'model minority' status if they kowtow to the majority. It's a fact of life if you do not speak up, you get to be pat on the head like 'good boy'.
In UK, S. Asians are seen as 'wogs' and moreso when they cannot distinguish between a Paki(stani) or a Hindu!
