(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.prontera.net | | I would like to comment here that Asian women and Asian-American women are a bit different in terms of outlook. In Japan, women are generally marginalised for their gender, but people in general are not given very much opportunity to improve their place in life. A lot of foreign (caucasian) men come to Japan expecting it a place filled with submissive and pliant women and to some degree they do find them. However, I'd like to add that a majority of Japanese women who like caucasian men know that is what they want. Kind of a two way street view of victimization. However, if could be said that in the end things turn out better for the Japanese women as they get to move out of their parent's homes and away from their dead-end job to be a full-time housewife (and there for allow them all the time they want and money they need to persue personal hobbies and possibly a lover on the side) while show off their stylishly foreign husband (who they deny sex after marriage as their child will be their main interest). |
