(User Info | Send a Message) | I agree that the American consumer bears much of the blame. But if, let's say, the price of software stopped going down because the government, through tax practices, were forcing companies to keep their call centers and development centers here in the U.S., I don't think consumers would notice. By moving development centers overseas, prices will fall. So why don't we just keep the prices the same and keep the jobs here?
Manufacturing is one thing, but if we allow the outflow of white collar jobs to India, we're effectively handing them the keys to our market engine. |
