(User Info | Send a Message) http://www.geocities.com/musicemm | Students whose parents beat them over not getting A's but who were loved will NOT see their parents' actions as abuse.
But those students who were beaten, as in my case, and did not feel loved, will, (and I thnk should) see their case as abuse.
When it comes down to it, love, not the emotional nor physical discipline, is the main deciding factor between what makes a situation abusive and nonabusive.
