(User Info | Send a Message) | Excellent point Kim. I am also not sold on the idea of having Whites adopting Blacks since they are of the mind that racism is really a psychotic figment of Black's imagination, so what the hell could they possibly teach a Black child facing unparalleled obstacles.
However, the ghetto now has lost its ability to sustain values when it is currently caught up in despair and materialism. Being poor in the ghettos of the 60's and 70's may have bred some cultural awareness and pride in Blackness, after all that is where all the protest movements, inevitably came out of, but who do the youngsters have to look up to now?? A BS caricature by the name of 50 cent? Daddy in lockdown? JaRule?
Only the women are holding down the fort and the burden is getting way to heavy.
